Sustainable, green, and energy-efficient building practices and design to assist architects, designers, building owners, home owners, manufacturers, engineers, and city planners.

Program:

To assist our clients in developing project functional organization, construction budgets, and other design parameters.

Building and Site Evaluation:

 Project site research to determine project feasibility.
 Master planning for projects ranging from single buldings to sites with multiple buildings and/or phases.
 Coordination with local development and building codes to deliver a comprehensive plan that achieves our client's project goals.

Construction Administration and Project Management:

 Assistance to our clients in transforming their early wishes and desires into a list of project priorities, specifications, working drawings, budgets, and material specifications.
 Organization of this initial information for use in the permit and bid process.
 Development of a list of potential contractors who can work with the client's project priorities, specifications, and budgets.
 Representation of the owner in contract negotiations with contractors for the project.
 Assessment of contractors' performance in constructing the project as planned and certification to authorize payments to contractors.
 Monitoring of contractors' progress and quality per the project specifications and schedule.
 Management of changes to the project and work when authorized.
 Selection of materials to minimize environmental impacts:
     Renewable and recycled products (aggregates for paving, concrete, engineered wood,
       steel structural members, wall board, interior finishes, flooring and trim)
     Products and finishes with low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions and water-
       based solvents and avoidance of materials containing formaldehyde-based glues

 Building inspections for:
     Structural integrity
     Damage
     Renovation feasibility
     Redevelopment feasibility
